Introduction:
Inspiring Children to Empowerment (ICE) Society is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information collected from participants, volunteers, coaches, and other stakeholders in accordance with British Columbia privacy laws.
Collection of Personal Information:
ICE Society collects personal information for the purpose of administering hockey programs, including but not limited to registration, scheduling, communication, and ensuring the safety and well-being of participants. Personal information collected may include names, contact information, medical history, emergency contacts, and any other information necessary for program participation.

ICE Society will only use personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, and will not disclose personal information to third parties except as required by law or with the consent of the individual.
Access to ICE Schedules:
ICE schedules, and other related information, will be made available to participants and coaches only. Access to ICE schedules will be restricted to authorized individuals for the purpose of program participation and administration.
Criminal Record Checks and Privacy Agreements for Coaches:
All coaches and volunteers working with ICE Society are required to undergo criminal record checks and sign privacy agreements to ensure the safety and security of participants. Coaches and volunteers will be provided with training on privacy policies and procedures to safeguard personal information.
Participant Consent:
Participants, or their legal guardians if under the age of 18, will be required to provide consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as outlined in this privacy agreement. Participants may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
Security Measures:
ICE Society employs reasonable security measures to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. This includes physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of personal information.
